A consultation forum on medical imaging equipment will be held on 17 November 2009 at the European Commission offices in Brussels, Belgium. The consultation forum will discuss a voluntary agreement proposed by COCIR, voice of the European Radiological, Electromedical, and Healthcare IT Industry, in order to avoid a preparatory study and possible regulation.
